Worship Service Guidelines
We are gathering in-person in the FCC Worship Center or you
are welcome to join us for our Livestream Service on YouTube at 9 a.m.
The Livestream Service will be available on the FCC YouTube Channel .
Please note that these plans are tentative and are subject to further
development, and additional guidelines provided by our governing authorities.
We will continue to provide our online streaming platform for those who may not be able to attend in person, or who are uncomfortable with attending in person. However, we desire to embody Hebrews 10:25 by “not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some” while also taking seriously the directives given by our governing officials. This command is driven both by a love for Scripture and one that is also deeply aware of the unique times in which we live.
Participant Limitation: The service will be limited to follow the governor’s requirements (currently 6 foot social distancing with no size limitation). Once we have reached capacity people will be asked to sit in an assigned area to engage in worship via live stream.
Masks: All who attend the service will be required to wear a mask. If they do not have one, we will provide one for them when they arrive.
Service Registration: Everyone (that is, family units or single) will be required to fill out a virtual connect card when they enter the service. For those without the technology, there will be someone available with the technology to register them.
Entrance/Exits: Enter through the middle entrance to provide contained flow. Exit through the middle and west exits.
Seating: All seating in the service will adhere to physical distancing guidelines. Special exceptions will be given to households- groups who wish to sit closer together.
Kids & Students: Families with kids and students are asked to worship together since we will not provide activities for those age ministries to honor the social distancing guidelines.
Offering: Offering containers are placed throughout the building. We ask that you place your offering in one of these containers as you enter or exit the building. Other great options are to give via the app/website or through the mail. We will not pass the plate for the offering.
Lord’s Supper: We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month. We will not pass the elements, but will instead provide a different, sanitary, method of delivery.
Sanitizing: We will sanitize all high usage areas after the service (door handles, bathrooms, offering receiving boxes, etc.).
